[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_00] Well, hello and welcome to another episode of the Alan Mead Experience. I'm your host, Dr. Alan Mead. I'm a dentist, a podcaster, and a cat father. I say this advisedly. I'm sitting on my porch. Each time I tell you that, I feel like it's sort of dumb, because you can probably tell the difference. It doesn't sound quite the same as when I have a studio. But while the weather hangs on in Michigan, I'm going to take advantage of the weather.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_00] And I'm sitting on the porch, which is nice and shady, looking out at my pond fountain. But here is the wrench in the works. One of my cats is attracted to me more than normal when I have a laptop and a headset on. Whenever I'm trying to record a podcast, this cat cannot get enough of sitting on my lap, jumping on me, that sort of thing. Like, for instance, he just knocked the power cord off of my laptop.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00] So my problem is that the cat kind of can't get enough of bothering me and jumping on the computer. It's crazy. It's like they know. So I probably, it's September here, so it's, the weather's beautiful, but it's not going to last. You just know it. I've lived here long enough to know that we'll probably have snow on the ground in a month. It's just sort of how this goes. Because we don't, our fall and spring sometimes in Michigan just don't happen.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00] It goes directly from winter to summer sometimes and vice versa. So anyhow, it's been really, really nice here. I have a bunch of topics I want to talk about with you. But so I'm just going to kind of go through them a little bit. So I will say this. I received my woodpecker PTE unit. I got the whole kit from Golden Dent, and I'll put a link in the show notes.

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00] Now, the PTE is, it's, if you've ever seen the GBT machine from EMS, the air polishing and piezoelectric all combined in one, and it's a convenient and really nice machine. It's got separate heating units for the piezoelectric water and the air polisher water. It's everything that probably all of this should have been in the first place. It's a really nice unit, and I'm happy about it.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00] I assembled it last, oh, I think I assembled it last week, and so we sort of started using it. Honestly, I have started using it. I haven't moved it to my hygienist yet because I'm trying to figure out the best use of this thing. But something that was interesting to me, okay, so first off, assembling it was not beyond what I could do, which is great. When you think about things like this, I'm not the handiest guy you've ever met, and I was able to assemble it with the instructions. The instructions were very good.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_00] I've bought several things from Woodpecker in the past that Golden Dent sells, and I've been happy with all of them. It's kind of an amazing piece of equipment, and their stuff is very well built. And I know that a lot of people are hung up on the fact that it's a Chinese company, but the reality is that I would argue that probably 95-plus percent of everything that we buy is manufactured and assembled in China as it is. Maybe not for Chinese companies,

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_00] but so the fact that there are some Chinese companies that are making innovative products should not bother us that much. It's still also being manufactured and assembled in China. The classic example is the Zumax Microscopes, which I would argue are the best microscopes on the market for the best price. And it's a Chinese company, and they're Chinese units. So it's pretty cool. So I've got this unit. It's on a really, really nice cart. It's nice, heavy-duty, rolls nicely.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00] It's bottom-heavy, so it doesn't want to tip over. And you need to plug in. It needs an electrical plug. It needs a grounded electrical plug. The heaters won't work if your plug is not grounded correctly. And I have at least one plug in my operatory that is not grounded correctly, and so the heaters weren't working in that one. I did try another plug, and it worked fine. So it was more about my electrical in my office than the actual unit. Hang on a sec. Hey, Sean. It's very distracting when you're standing there. Can you—

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00] Thanks. Sorry, buddy. So I've had a real love-hate relationship with anything with powdered media before, because powdered media things, which is to say air abrasion units or, you know, like the BioClear Blaster and all this stuff, they tend to make a mess. They have a layer of kind of grit powder on everything.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00] And there's—if you're going to use those things, you kind of have to accept that a little bit. And I think for whatever reason for me, I've just had a hard time accepting that. It's been something I didn't want to accept. And so a lot of times, even though I know it's a good use of—even though I know it's a technology that I want to use, and I love seeing clean teeth, and the best way to get clean teeth is to use a powdered medium on it, I've been hung up on it.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_00] Well, this is the most controlled spray I've seen, but here's what I've started to do. A couple other things I'm using with it, and I'll try and put a video up of what I've been doing with it in the Very Dental Facebook group. And I know that dentists listening to this are like, I don't want to hear about hygiene, but I'm like, you don't have to do this yourself. Obviously, your hygienist can do this. You can train your hygienist to do this. I'm trying to figure out the workflow that I want in my office by doing it myself.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00] And then I'll probably figure out a way to have that work in my office with hygienists as well. But I want it to be a good patient experience so people don't fight it, so people don't—and I have to tell you, I am the guy—I'm the hardest person in my office to try new things with. Let's just say that. I'm the guy that struggles to try new things. So that's that. I'm trying new things.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00] Anyhow, so on Wednesday, I cleaned my office manager's husband's teeth, and he knew he was kind of coming in as me, a guinea pig, because I was still trying to figure out how to use this machine and all this stuff. So the first thing I did was I placed an OptraGate, which is the lip-and-cheek retractor from Ivoclar that is—it's just ubiquitous. You see it everywhere. And I've had OptraGates in my office for a long time, but I tend not to use them.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00] And this is so dumb, but it's true. I tend not to use them because I have a hard time placing them. I've watched all the YouTube videos. I've watched—and people make it look really easy. But somehow or another, I have a hard time placing them. And in my mind, I feel like, is that uncomfortable for the patient for me to be fumbling around to get them in place? It is one of those things, just like anything, it just takes some practice and some reps, and it's probably not that big of a deal. But I have had a hard time placing them all.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_00] So I just sucked it up, and I placed one, and it wasn't that bad. But of course, on a guinea pig, on someone who's not worried about it, who's there knowing that I'm trying new stuff, he didn't complain. I was able to get it in really easily on my first patient. I'm like, oh, this is great. And then, so I did that. I placed—I did an exam in the microscope. I have all this on video, too, by the way. I'm using the ZoomX OMS 2050 microscope, which I use for most of my dentistry.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_00] I only have one of them in one of my operatories. I have a CJ Optic Flexion in the other one, which is a nice microscope. But the reality is, the next level of microscope use for me has been a built-in still and video camera that works every time, that's very easy to use. And the way that I've made it so I can use it well and know what's going on is I have an always-on monitor.

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_00] So the camera of this microscope is always on in this one monitor. So I have three TVs mounted in my operatory with this scope. And I'll probably get another one in my other operatory and do the same thing. It makes all the difference in the world because you know you're getting a clear picture. You know when the camera is out of focus or whatever. It's really great. So I'm doing this all on video so I can kind of go back and look and see what I've been up to. And it's incredibly satisfying to see the air polisher do its thing after you've disclosed.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_00] It's all fun. But anyhow. So once you get an OptraGate on, it's amazing how much you can see in this video, this high-definition video that I'm taking with the microscope. But then knowing that, okay, so the OptraGate's in place makes it really easy to place the disclosing solution, which is an interesting thing. I'll tell you about that in a second. The next thing I did was I placed a Mr. Thirsty unit, which is Zerk's version of the suction bite block.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_00] Now, I've used many versions of this over the years. We've interviewed some people. Well, I had an interview a couple months ago or a few months ago with a manufacturer that I think it's called Avident. The folks at Golden didn't sell this. But I have to tell you that the one thing that Mr. Thirsty has over all of these companies is that the entire unit is disposable. So there is no sterilization. You literally plug the unit into your suction hose and you're good to go.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00] It's as easy to use as any other ones. I don't need a light attached to it because I have either a headlamp or a super bright light on my microscope. So I don't need the light is not an important thing for me. And the hands-free operation with the Mr. Thirsty is as good as any of them. I really like that. Mr. Thirsty is much like the OptraGate for me. For one thing, they're loud. When the suction is on, it's loud. But that's actually not that huge of a deal. Well, I'll tell you a little bit.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_00] One of my sons, I cleaned their teeth a couple days ago using one. And the solution for the loud Mr. Thirsty was I just turned the... I found a video on Amazon Prime that he hadn't seen before that he wanted to watch. He would have stayed there for hours just watching the video. And all I had to do is just turn the TV up. So it was no big deal. Anyhow, so the Mr. Thirsty's are very loud. But all of them are very loud. It's a loud suction unit. And it's kind of constant. But I used to think that was a huge downside. I'm not so sure that it is. Probably the answer to it is to get...

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_00] Probably the answer is to get headphones for the patient, more than likely. Like I've already got big goggles on them. I've got big safety glasses on them because I don't want to get all this dust and stuff in their eyes. And the reality is if I put over-the-ear headphones on them, they could hear the TV really well. And then that noise wouldn't make any difference. So the reality is these are all things that I'm thinking about how I'm going to work around them. Anyhow.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00] So I place the OptraGate, which gets the lips and cheeks out of the way. I place the Mr. Thirsty, which is going to suction all of my water up, all that powder. And also, it keeps their tongue out of the way. You know, the only downside with those bite blocks, which is with all of them, you get about two-thirds of the teeth exposed at once. So you have to switch it over partway through to get the other side. But I will say this. It takes a process that could be messy with the disclosing solution and the powder water part of it.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00] And it really takes that right out of it. Mr. Thirsty did an amazing job keeping everything clean. Yeah, by the end, you need to wipe their face off a little bit. But it's not bad. It's way better than I was expecting it was going to be. So pretty excited about that. And then I disclosed. And I used the GC Disclosing Gel. It's a tricolor or dual-colored gel. And what I'm finding is different ways. You always see people on... I watch a lot of guided biofilm therapy accounts.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00] And those are almost always... EMS calls what they're doing guided biofilm therapy. And it's like trademarked and all this stuff. But the reality is that people have been disclosing plaque on patients' teeth forever. And then using that to know that they got it all off. That's all this is. They're using an air polisher to get it off instead of a profi cup in a scalers, per se. But it's... The goal is to remove as much of this biofilm as you possibly can.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00] And by staining it, you really know where it is. And you can take it off. The dual colors, it's kind of cool. They've got... Some stains a little darker. Some stains a little lighter. And I think the darker stuff has been there longer. And the lighter stuff has not been there as long. And then it's... Calculus doesn't seem to stain very much. Calculus still stays that kind of yellowish, almost whitish color. So it's interesting how this is all working.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00] But anyhow, I found that a micro brush works the best for applying the dye. So you see people using a big cotton pledge. You see people using a micro brush. I'm an actual brush. Like the little puffy sponge ends don't hold enough material. And what I found was you just need to use more than you think. You lay it on really thick. You rinse it all off. And you've got a Mr. Thirsty. So you can just rinse it off willy-nilly. And it comes off nicely. Just... It's a great...

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_00] It's a great system. And all of a sudden, the mystery, any mystery you might have as to where this biofilm is, what you need to get off, how you know when you're done being clean, is taken... It's completely taken away. Like you use this air polisher, which is basically a handpiece that sprays... It puts out a perfect mix of powder and liquid mist. You put it right up against the tooth and it just starts taking this stuff off. It is shockingly good.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00] And I think one thing that... You can use a profi cup to get this stuff off, yes. But this just seems to... This is a power washer. It's so quick. It's so quick. It's sort of... It almost feels too easy. And the craziest thing is you can get it interproximately with this. So I'm finding that if you use a profi cup, a lot of times, and you floss after that, you've still got a lot of stuff coming out that's interproximal that the profi cup can't reach. This can reach interproximately. Because if it stains in there and you can get in there, it can get it out. It is amazing.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00] Big fan of this PTE unit. I will say this. If you wanted to institute this in your hygiene program, and you already have good ultrasonics, like most operatories already have a, most hygiene ops have a Cavitron in it. I am not sure that the, it's an excellent piezoelectric unit. It's as nice as they come. It's got an LED on it. It's a really nice thing. But if you've already got Cavitrons, this is overkill.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00] Because you won't, you don't, if you've already got them using ultrasonic instrumentation, you don't, you know, you don't necessarily need to do this. So if you wanted to save a couple bucks, the other thing to do would be, and you can get this from Golden Dent too. Basically, they have this really nice air polishing unit on its own. It's, none of this is inexpensive, but as an investment, I feel like it makes a lot of sense. It's called the Woodpecker PTB Mini.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00] So it's just, it's just the air polisher, which is, and I think it looks as nice as the PTE's air polisher and the heating, the heating unit is really nice, all that stuff. And it's even got a smaller footprint than the PTE. So if you already had, if you already had ultrasonic instrumentation, maybe this would be what you'd want to do. But this is, this is a, I'm going to tell you, once you start doing this, you can't go back to regular hygiene and look at it the same way. This is, this is like night and day difference.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00] There's a lot of claims that are made about it, about how it's, you know, so much better for people's health and inflammation and all this stuff. And then I'm not here to test or not test those claims. I, I'm just going to tell you that this thing is really amazing. It's really, and okay. And the most important thing I did this, I did this on four or five patients in the last week, just because we just got it going. The second patient was, was just happened to be thrown over in my schedule. It was an overflow patient and it was in my second column.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_00] That's what we do with hygiene. We'll put a lot of my hygiene in my second column. So I'm, I'm able to do, to do that between, you know, restorative appointments, that sort of thing. And I said, okay, I got, we have this new technology we're trying out. Would you be willing to try it? And I, I kind of explained all the pros and cons and the woman said, sure. So we set it up and, and I did all this. I placed the, I placed the, uh, obtrigate. I got to tell you, placing the OptraGate is, is maybe the hardest part for me. I'm just not very good at it.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_00] And I'm worried I'm going to be stretching on these poor people's lips too much or whatever. Anyhow, I got it in place. Finally, it was, I was fumbling around. And I sort of make, make light of it in place. The, the Mr. Thirsty and she did really well with the Mr. Thirsty for the first, you know, two thirds of the appointment. She somehow was kind of fighting it on the second two thirds, but, and I think patients, it depends on the patient. Some patients really fight those. Uh, I have to say, I'm going to start using them for a lot of my, my non-rubber dammed appointments because man, are they slick.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_00] They're really, really slick. Um, so I did this, I did this for this woman. We, we cleaned her up. And I went in with the, the piezoelectric ultrasonic and I knocked some calculus off, but I did that afterwards. And what was really cool is all the, all the, the loose soft biofilm was gone, just gone. So the only thing that was left was tartar. The only thing left was in, in on her, it happened to be the lower, on the linguals, lower anteriors. I was able to get that off really quick. And so we finished her up and, and just when we asked her what was really interesting,

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00] she said to me, she said, my teeth have never felt this way before. And I, at first I was like, Oh no, what have I done? And then she said, I've never, they've never felt so smooth. They never felt so clean. This feels really good. And then she told my, my front desk completely unprompted. She said this stuff that she wants that next time. She, she doesn't want, she doesn't want the old fashioned way is what she called it. She wants whatever we did today. So that was an unprompted testimony about this, uh, biofilm guided hygiene.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_00] And I think that says an awful lot. There's not very much that you get out of patients unprompted. I mean, I think of that as, is, is, uh, like the patient noticed this without me even necessarily shaking them down for it. It was really interesting. And then, so then I, I brought both my kids and they had Friday off from school. So I brought both my kids in on Friday. I bribed them with Chick-fil-A lunch to come in and let me, let me try this again.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_00] And, and, uh, both of them did really well with it. They did really well. Like, like my oldest Sean, I thought there's no way he's going to let me place that, that, uh, Mr. Thirsty on him. He's just going to fight that way. He didn't at all. Like I said, I just turned the TV up, put on what he wanted to watch. And he just stood there still like a statue. It was fantastic. This, this was, this was the easiest time I've ever had doing anything on him. It was fantastic.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00] It was more about the TV and less about the, but I also was like, so what do you think of this? He's like, my teeth feel very smooth. And this is something Sean's not going to give me, he's not going to give me props for anything ever. That's just not the way he is. And he, he specifically unprompted told me how clean his teeth felt. That was two, two people unprompted. It's like, okay, so there is something to this. There's no doubt in my mind. This, this is the future of hygiene. I'm telling you this right now. And I know a lot of people, I got my hygiene's fine.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_00] My hygiene's fine. I have always said for years now, I've been saying, I don't know that dentistry does all that well with prevention. And of course the reality is your patient's oral health does not depend on whether or not you use a biofilm guided hygiene techniques, airflow and this sort of thing. It doesn't depend on that. It really depends on what they do when they're not in your office, diet and home care and genetics. And I mean, that's really where it could.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_00] But the reality is I feel like this is a really good way to start a conversation. I've got patients telling me that they've, their teeth have never felt this smooth. And the reality is, is this would be a perfect way for you to then start talking about oral hygiene instruction at home, the stuff that they can do at home. Cause I think that's the other thing we don't do very well with that. I don't think, I don't, I think we just check the boxes and we do what, what, you know, what they're expecting. And that's that.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00] And I just feel like we've got, we've got some capacity to do something new and interesting here. I'm, it was expensive. The, the it's, there's an expense up front. Although I have to say these, these seem like very sturdy and well put together units. So I think they're going to sterilize well. And I think they're going to last a while. So I think it'll be a good investment in the long run, but it's, it's, it's different than

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_00] if you, if you've never seen or, or done this, it's, it's a very different procedure than a standard, you know, uh, hygiene procedure for people who are healthy or either people, even people who aren't healthy, you know, people who need a little more. I just am, I'm, I'm real bullish on this stuff. I think this is the, this is the future. And I've been literally podcasting about this for years and it's taken me, I don't know when Lance Timmerman and I first podcasted on this specifically.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_00] I want to say that we called, we called the episode, the future of dental hygiene. Maybe I'll, maybe I'll put that episode out as, as a, as a classic, just because I was thinking that it was at least two years ago, maybe. And of course it's taken me this long to really finally commit to it and start, start doing it. Cause it always takes me that long because I have to, I have to move past all the objections that I always put up. It's never the patients. It's often not my team. It's usually me thinking that everyone else is going to hate it or whatever, but I, I, I move in, I'm moving slowly in this direction.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_00] And I think it's, I think it's the right move. So something else that I, I found, uh, I just got to tell you, this is a really, it's, it's a cool piece of software and it's probably going to apply to people in dentistry and sort of a limited way, but, but it was very interesting to me. So I have, I've had microscopes in my office for years and most of them have had the capacity to, to make good video one way or the other. You could make excellent video from these things.

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_00] Now, now I'm convinced that the real way for me is to have the camera that's built into the microscope. Cause I don't know that much about cameras and all that stuff, but, but I have lots of video in one of the things about video that you take clinical video is that a lot of, a lot of it is boring and repetitive and useless and not something that you'd want to show people just by the nature of how procedures work or, or whatever.

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00] A lot of, you know, a lot of the video I take, if I'm using a microscope is literally off to the side, pointing at the floor as we're trying to take an x-ray or as we're trying to scan or something, something like that. So, you know, and you have to edit video into smallish clips. And so I've had lots of different editing software. Shoot. I have the entire, uh, creative cloud. They call it an Adobe, which is, I use Adobe products to make the podcast. I've been using them since literally for 12 years now.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00] And it's a, it's a, a monthly subscription. You kind of get all of the Adobe products and I really don't use them very much. Um, but I have access to a video editing program called Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro is a great product for people who know what the hell they're doing. And that would not be me. I have no idea what I'm doing with video editing. I don't want to become a video editor. I just want something really easy. What I wanted was to be able to just cut out the boring stuff and make little clips of the interesting stuff that I might want to show.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00] So in all of these video editing softwares are not set up to be simple like that. They're, they're meant to do incredible, you know, lighting effects and, and, and, you know, transitions between scenes and all this stuff. It's like making movies where I just like, look, I just need something so I can clip these down easily and simply. And so I, I actually finally started looking around in, in multiple places, uh, referred

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00] me to a piece of software that is called lossless cut. Um, it is, but this, this software is, is literally, you can find it at lossless cut.app. And honestly, you can get it for free. If you, I think you can, you can, uh, download the most, like the, the beta for free. I didn't do that. I went ahead and downloaded it from the, the Apple app store because I, I didn't want to figure out how to chase that down, but you certainly could.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00] It was like 19 bucks. It was not super expensive. And I think that's a forever license and you can use it on, you know, 10 different computers. So it's not a particularly expensive piece of software, but it does exactly what it says it's going to do and no more, which is like, God, what don't you wish all software and everything would do that? Like so much of, so much of software can do all these things that I don't need it to do. But one of the stuff that I do need it to do is difficult and hard to get to and stuff like that.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00] This is a beautiful, beautiful thing. Lossless cut. And so I started using this because I'm like, okay, I got all these videos. I had tons of video and a lot of it is boring and repetitive, but some of it's kind of cool. And I want to be able to trim these down to small pieces. Well, and I've been taking video of clinical stuff forever and really have never had a solution for trimming it down nicely. And now I do, and I got to say this lossless cut is I could explain to you how to do it in like five minutes. It's so easy to use.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_00] It's pretty exciting to have this, you know, I've got it on all my computers now. So it's easy to use that way. I just am, I'm happy that there's a piece of software in the world that actually works the way that they say it's going to work. So I thought I would pass that on with you, but the, and maybe I'll be sharing more video in the very dental Facebook group and that sort of thing. So you guys can see what the heck I'll put some up in the very dental Facebook group. So you can see what the heck I'm talking about, about this biofilm guided hygiene stuff that

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00] I'm kind of delving into and figuring out how I'm going to use it in my practice. And, but I got to tell you, I think these things are moving in the right direction. I, the, I think there's a really neat combination of technologies with my microscope and being able to take video and pictures that I can show patients immediately in the operatory. I can take photos, video of their disclosed teeth to show them exactly where they're missing. And I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do this. I did it with my boys.

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_00] I had them both brush their teeth really well before they came in. And then I disclosed them and they just had gunk all over their teeth. It was unbelievable. And had I been using that, trying to show them that they're not doing a good job, I didn't, I didn't want it to be, I don't want it to be a gotcha. It's got to be some kind of an education. I'm still learning how to do this, but I think this combination of technology so that the microscope that I can show them in live, what that, what it looks like the, I'm telling you the opturgate and the Mr. Thirsty, what a great combination for this.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00] You see a lot of people who are doing this, this airflow stuff. They have these fancy little mirror mirrors that basically it's a suction tip with a mirror on the end. And it's in, and I'm sure that's great, but like, this was really easy. This was really easy having a Mr. Thirsty in that opturgate in place. And yes, it adds, it adds cost to your, your, you know, their disposables that add cost to your procedure. But I, if it were this easy, it just makes a lot of sense to me.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00] And then using this air polisher that removes the stuff with ease is just next level. I like hygiene appointments could be significantly shorter with this technology. General dentists who have a hygiene practice, that's probably what you need to hear. I know your hygienists don't want to hear that, but okay. You don't shorten the hygiene appointment at all, but they can spend more time educating and showing people how to take care of their teeth perhaps, because this air polisher makes

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_00] the actual cleaning of the teeth and, and removing biofilm and getting deposits so fast. It's shocking. And I, I know if you've listened to the podcast over the years, people have always said this, but I'm, I'm experiencing it myself firsthand and it's, it's really true. So I think this is the future. And then this lossless cut software will allow me to edit video quickly and get, so I can show, I'm just very excited. This is a, it's been a kind of an interesting week for me.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_00] And, uh, again, the biggest take home is the fact that I've got patients telling me unprompted that they've never had their teeth feel this clean before. So it's something to take home with you. So, uh, if you haven't, if you haven't joined the very dental Facebook group, probably should, I'm going to start trying to post more stuff, video and stuff like that there. Just go to Facebook and look up very dental. And then it's going to ask you for, uh, it's going to ask you to tell me your story. I love people. I love the stories that I see when I'm letting people in, but also I ask for a password and

I have lots and lots of them. Oh, Tiffany, Tiffany's a new one too. Any of them will get you in. Um, and we can talk about this stuff or anything else, or you can tell me I'm full of it. I don't care. It's a, it's a nice non-challenging, uh, gentle group. And it's typically a worthwhile place to spend a little time. I try and, I try and keep it.
